History
Falconhead traces its roots to the late 1990s, when David Moross recognized the opportunity to create an investment vehicle that could capitalize on the emerging trends behind the convergence of sports and media and the strong demographic changes in the United States including aging baby boomers, increased disposable income, and increased travel and leisure spending. In 1998, Mr. Moross assembled an investment team and approached IMG, the leading sports and lifestyle management and marketing company, with the idea of creating a relationship to assist Falconhead in the pursuit of investments in companies that would take advantage of many of the trends identified above.
In 2001, Falconhead received additional investment capital to continue implementing its successful investment strategy and since that time, has successfully invested in several sub-segments of the leisure/lifestyle sector including cruise/travel, spa/fitness, outdoors, recreational equipment and vehicles, and leisure-related media.
Falconhead Capital's experienced investment team and focused, operationally-driven investment strategy in the leisure/lifestyle sector has become a unique investment company capable of generating above-average returns for investors.
