David Moross

Founder, Chairman & CEO

Mr. Moross is the Founder and Chairman of Falconhead Capital, an investment firm. Falconhead, founded in 1998, currently manages over $500 million in funds focused on investments in the leisure and lifestyle sectors. Falconhead targets control transactions, facilitating an active ownership approach whereby the firm can leverage its substantial financial, operational and strategic resources to help businesses pursue growth opportunities and other value building strategies. Mr. Moross enjoys a long history as a leader in the sports and leisure investment world having been a partner, for many years, with Mark H. McCormack, the founder of the world’s largest sports marketing, services and management company, IMG. In 1986 Mr. Moross joined Whitehall Financial Group, an investment firm that invests in the leisure, financial services, oil and gas, and shipping industries. He became vice-chairman of Whitehall in 1992. Mr. Moross currently serves on the boards of Escort Inc., Competitor Group, Inc., and GPSI Holdings, LLC. Among his many civic and charitable interests, Mr. Moross is chairman of the Falconhead Charitable Foundation; a Governor and Trustee of the Dana-Farber Institute, a cancer research institute affiliated with Harvard Medical School; a Director of the M.D. Moross Institute for Cancer Research; a member of the Development Board of the University of Texas; a director of the Silver Shield Foundation; and a member of the Board of the Fund for Public Health in New York.
