
Jim Solomon, a Falconhead Operating Partner since 2004, brings proven operating experience with a track record of growing businesses and improving profitability. From 2000 to 2004, Jim was President and Chief Executive Officer of Crunch Fitness Inc., a privately-owned business, which was sold to Bally's Total Fitness in 2002. For seven years prior to Crunch Fitness, Mr. Solomon was President and Chief Operating Officer of Dansk International Designs. Dansk is a $150 million consumer durables company owned by Brown-Forman Inc. During the 1980s, Mr. Solomon held increasing marketing responsibilities in the athletic shoe industry with New Balance, Prince Tennis, and Avia. From 1986-1989, while Mr. Solomon was Vice President of Marketing, Avia grew from $26 million to $200 million in revenues and was sold to Reebok. Mr. Solomon started his marketing career at Quaker Oats Company. Jim is currently Chief Executive Officer of Extreme Fitness and a member of its Board of Directors.
