David Moross

David Moross is Chairman of Falconhead Capital, which he founded in 1998. With vast experience as an investor in the consumer private equity industry, David built the investment firm with focus on the sports, leisure, lifestyle, media and entertainment sectors. In the same year, David created a partnership with the late Mark McCormack of IMG, the world’s premier sports marketing & management company. Together they founded Sports Capital Partners, the first institutionally managed sports media and sports investment fund. After its first fund, Sports Capital Partners was renamed Falconhead Capital Partners. Falconhead raised and invested additional committed funds focusing on the same sectors. The firm is actively involved in acquiring and building leading growth companies in the sports, media and consumer sectors.

David is a Trustee of the Weizmann Institute of Science, a member of the Development Board of the University of Texas at Austin, a Trustee of the Silver Shield Foundation and serves on the board of the Park Avenue Armory and Airhead Sports Group, LLC. He has also served as a Board Director of the NY Fund for Public Health, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and was a Vice Chairman of the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee.

Previously, David was Chairman of the Falconhead Charitable Foundation and on the boards of ESPN Classic Sports, Europe; Maritime Telecommunications Network, LLC; National Power Sport Auctions, LLC; NYDJ Apparel Company; ESCORT Holdings, LLC; Competitor Group, LLC; Bollé Inc.; Rita’s Italian Ices, LLC; GPSi Holdings, LLC & Multi-Flow Industries, LLC.

David Gubbay

Since 2002, David Gubbay has been a Partner in Falconhead Capital, LLC. He is experienced in both operations and acquisitions having served in a number of senior executive roles in his career in both publicly listed and privately held companies across many industries including financial, consumer and cruise line.

David currently serves as a director of a business management and analytics company based in New Delhi, India and is on the boards of several other portfolio companies.

He began his career in the financial services industry and became CEO of an insurance group of companies which eventually became listed on the NYSE.

David has served as Chairman and lead independent director of a NASDAQ listed time share company and also built the first internet service provider for the maritime industry.

Linda Marr

Linda Marr joined Falconhead Capital in 2001 and currently serves as Director of Administration and Human Resources. Prior to Falconhead, Linda was the administrator for a surgical practice, overseeing the daily operations of the out-patient surgical facilities in Los Angeles and New York City. She began her career in the Fundraising Department with the NY Special Olympics and served as director for The Falconhead Foundation from 2004 – 2014. Ms. Marr studied business management at Marymount Manhattan College.

Operating Executives are not employees of Falconhead, but contribute to Falconhead’s deal flow and due diligence process as consultants and may invest in, serve as directors at, or hold interim and full-time executive positions with, portfolio companies and be appropriately compensated by such portfolio companies for the role they fill.
